Thursday, May 1. I rode into the hills on the east side of town, and rode part way up Chinese Peak. I didn't make it very far however, since the road turned into the consistency and color of a frosty.
I did get high enough to get an OK view of the city, the arrow points out about where our house is on the eastern edge of town.
I rode out of town, and found the downhill ski area near Inkom, called Pebble Creek. I don't think they were running the lifts, but there were fresh tracks down the mountain.
I went south from Pebble Creek to Inkom and caught the highway back to Pocatello.
